Thanos is the main villain of the 2012 movie, The Avengers (which is called "Avengers Assemble" in some countries). Although the main villain was thought to be Loki, Thanos was the top-secret evil mastermind behind the Chitauri attack on planet Earth. He is only mentioned once and in-directly by The Other and Loki, isn't credited as Thanos (as "Man 1") and only appears in one of the 2 post-credit scenes where he and The Other are discussing the humans' unexpected strength and then smirks at the camera. He is portrayed by Damion Poitier.
